This German lesson takes place as a web conference in a virtual classroom on our website. The virtual classrooms uses live webcam and microphone sharing, multifunctional whiteboards and a wide variety of online collaboration tools. Once you have logged in for this German lesson the web conference runs in your internet browser on your computer desktop. If you use the virtual classroom for the first time, please:

1. Watch this video about web conferencing with Adobe® Connect™ and read this Visual Quick Start Guide.

2. Let the official Adobe® Connect™ Connection Test check your current computer setup. This procedure will evaluate your internet connection and will automatically install, if necessary, the free applications Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Connect Add-in, so that your computer will meet all necessary technical requirements for attending a high-quality web conference in our virtual classrooms.

3. Enter now a sample virtual classroom and experience its features. Please log in as a guest. Here you can share your webcam and microphone, use a chat pod, write down notes, write and draw on the whiteboard, upload and download files, listen to audio files and watch video files.

The maximum number of active participants in this lesson is eight. Registered students have priority over non-registered users. During the lesson in the virtual classroom you can use your microphone and webcam to interact live with your German teacher and your fellow students.

The number of passive participants in this lesson is unlimited. As a passive participant you can watch, listen and passively interact with your German teacher and with your fellow students. During the lesson in the virtual classroom you can answer via chat to debated questions and you can participate in polls.
