What is a Core Course A1/2? |
|
The course is divided into 7 learning units which will be carried out by experienced native speaking German teachers over 24 lessons (via web conferencing) of 60 minutes each in virtual classrooms on our website. These German lessons will take place twice a week for a period of three months. Teacher's notes collected during every lesson in the virtual classroom are available after the end of the lesson in your personal account area My Account.
Core Course A1/2 uses Schritte International 2 as textbook and takes you up to level A2 (waystage or elementary) according to the exact specifications of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Short texts and dialogues on interesting topics, entertaining photo-stories, audio texts, grammar overviews, cultural background information and a huge amount of interactive exercises offer you an effective and time-saving learning solution in a simple and up to date layout. Core Course A1/2 helps you to perfectly reach the speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and comprehension skills required for this level by CEFR.

Course schedules are organised on the basis of the average demands resulted from all student applications forms. Different timetables may be arranged for courses of the same language level depending on our students’ needs. |
Optional features
Consolidation Lessons encompass predominately grammar training by means of specially selected exercises. -
Homework Revision allows you to continue practicing German also after classes on your personal account area My Account. After each lesson in the virtual classroom you receive custom-made written and video homeworks which must be delivered within a fixed deadline. Your German teacher reads and corrects your homework within 48 hours sending you a personal feedback.

Lesson Recording gives you the opportunity to watch again every lesson from the virtual classroom. Therefore you can practice your pronunciation or recover missing lessons.
Monthly learning strategies
Customise your German course by choosing the monthly learning strategy that suits you best. Textbooks for the personal use of participants are not included in the course price. They can be individually acquired in bookshops or online.
