Deutsch-als-Fremdsprache.online is the only e-learning-platform to date that gives you the opportunity to learn the German language  with your own personal teacher via internet from about anywhere. We offer an individualized study-plan online which is shaped to accommodate the individual situation of each language student. Learning German with us is easy and straightforward. Based on a constant, personal online-contact between our students and our teachers, who are native speakers, and using modern methods and didactics, our programme is dedicated to people who want to learn German in an effective, professional and fast way.

Deutsch-als-Fremdsprache.online started in 2007 at the University of Constance, Germany, and offers help with the German language especially to those actively involved in the academic sphere (e.g. M.A students, PhD Candidates and Junior Professors...). We offer assistance in the reading, interpretation and translation of academic texts of your choice. Since 2008 we enveloped didactic methods also befitting a broader range of non-academic learners. We do not only offer courses for beginners but also individualized study-programmes for people who are interested in improving and enlarging their knowledge of German on the basis of individual, specific fields of interest.

Our team consists of linguists, language teachers and enthusiastic language tutors who are actively involved with various German Universities. Every of our language student therefore is being supervised by a group of teachers, of which everyone is a specialist in her own domain of language teaching.

Our study-programme is designed to be fit, upon consultation with the teachers of our team, to the linguistic level of each individual student. This program will not only be constructed to meet the student’s language-level but also her/his personal interests.

This is why we do not offer standardized courses but every lecture is characterized by a direct agreement between student and teacher. Parallel to 1:1 tutoring we also group-teach students on the same language-level on our e-learning-platform, where interactive learning will be promoted.

We do not offer preformed schedules. Every one of our students co-determines their weekly times of meeting with their teachers. In this way we can attend to individual learning preferences and work with questions, interests and needs that arise during each new lesson.
